The subpages contain photos from various olympiads in informatics:
the Central European Olympiad in Informatics (CEOI) and the
International Olympiad in Informatics
(IOI).
These are international student competitions, to which each
participating nation can send a team of up to four competitors and two
team leaders. The competitors are usually chosen through a
national computer science / programming competition - in Germany,
this is mostly the Bundeswettbewerb
Informatik and some specific training and selection workshops.
I have participated in a number of these olympiads myself,
representing Germany as a competitor, team leader and organiser
(member of the scientific committee) in different years.
The photos from
the IOI 1997 and 1998 were made by Karsten Sperling, and the
first 200 photos from the CEOI 2001 were taken by Daniel Jasper.
All other photos were taken by me. Maybe one day I will also
scan and upload my photos from CEOI 1998, if I get lots of
requests ;-)
